Do we live in the here and now or are we living in the future? I would like to talk about how fast our generation is growing and changing every day. Dr. Rog came to a point in class were he told us that Facebook was no longer for 18-20 year olds but now for 40 year olds. Everyday there is some new invention that our generation grabs on to and makes it the next big thing. The scary part about new inventions such as new technology is that there is more control over other humans without physically touching or seeing them. Ipod touch cell Phone, for example, can tell you everything you need to know within a few touches.
One of my friend’s mothers had gotten an Iphone when they had first come out on to the market. Her son would have died for one at the time, so he got one. At his age, he was also going out to parties that his mom did not know about. He would tell her he was going to one friend’s house and end up at another. Well, the point of my story is that when he got his Iphone his mother could navigate him on her Iphone with just a few touches and she knew exactly where he was at all times. The sucky part is that he didn’t know that she could do that when he got the phone. So I feel like I experienced on a firsthand account of how fast our generation is moving. So are we living in the here and now? I believe we are living in the future.

That's a good point. You do good job in describing how fast not only our technology is developing but the rate our generation gap is lessening. You could elaborate on the comment you make on our control over people outside physical proximity. That is a very original insight to our culture and it would help you lengthen your entry to the 300 word minimum.

Smiley Face :)
